Community Involvement

As a locally owned business, we at Knudson Lumber depend on our community to support us. We feel it is important for us to return that support through the support of local programs, sports, causes and charities. We support our community through service and donations to Public and Charter Schools, Parks and Recreation organizations, Sports Programs, Scouting Organizations, local Food Banks, our Ellensburg Rodeo & fair, just to name a few. Since 2018 Knudson Lumber has donated and sponsored $80,500 to organizations and programs throughout Kittitas County.



Each year, Knudson Lumber hosts a Milwaukee Day, a Summer Customer Appreciation BBQ, a Nail Driving Contest at the Kittitas County Fair, a Ladies Night and a Build a Decorative Birdhouse for the Kids. We love forming relationships with all of our customers, from the homeowner, to the handyman to the contractor, these people are not just a customer to us; they become like part of our family. Many Kittitas Valley families have been shopping with Knudson Lumber since the beginning and we see the third, fourth and even fifth generations shopping with us. You don’t see that happen at many businesses. Whenever someone walks thru our door, we will do whatever it takes to ensure that the customer is taken care of. We pride ourselves in building our community with value & extraordinary service.
